Monday - Greeted with Glee

Today I came home from work and was greeted with a gleeful grin from my lovely daughter.
She immediately invited me to join her in a very intense game of "monkeys jumping on a bed" I could not help but to reply "of course". We finished up our game with an adventure to the basement to find something buried in storage. Upon not finding what we were looking for... we did find an old friend "Aliyah's Tent". So, of course, we HAD to set it up. So we set up the tent... and sent mom to take a nap and off we went inside with some pillows. My daughter and I sat inside lying on pillows facing up and playing "I spy" we continued for a good 1/2 hour to 40 minutes. I was loving her excitement. She was really enjoying some Daddy Daughter time. My heart just began to grow bigger and bigger towards her. My life and time was standing still in those moments. I wouldn't trade them for anything.
