Small Groups Spring Semester is Here!

Tabitha and I are very excited to start our group coming up on Sunday. We are trying something a little new and doing a group on Sunday morning. Tabitha and I both understand how important each decision we choose is to getting us, not only, where we want to be, but where God would like us to be. God's purpose involves the good and the bad that life throws at us. The adventure of it all is not giving up and pushing through. The darkest times in life always seems to lie to us the most. I remember going deer hunting as a kid. Each morning we would head out 2-3 hours before daylight. It was the longest, eeriest time... I remember my imagination running wild sitting all alone in the middle of NOWHERE![seemingly]. My mind, ears, eyes would lie to me and make me think something was there that wasn't. When the light came (SUNRISE) all those mis-perceptions became so clear. Our lives are much like that. That is why I find the scripture....
"Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know, recognize, and acknowledge Him, and He will direct and make straight and plain your paths."
so refreshing and important. I also enjoy knowing

"God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it." These scriptures were key when I was unmarried and are still key even though I am married. We all have our crosses and struggles in life. God NEVER said life was easy. God just says he has the best route to get where we are going. I am confident as people decide to LEAN on what GOD says, each one will see in time how God is directing and pointing out the best path we could possibly take.
